Cost & how it works
Cost:
On-line appraisals are $35 (Canadian), plus $4.55 HST
(tax) per item if you live in Ontario, or the tax applicable to
your province if you live elsewhere in Canada. This
will be 5% GST if you live in a province that does
not have HST. (A matching pair of vases, a pair of
candlesticks, salt and pepper set etc. are all considered
a single
item.)
Payment is made through PayPal, which
accepts all major credit cards, and is a world leader in
secure online payments. Appraisals are usually completed
within ten business days. (If John is unable to appraise
your item, the payment will be reversed and you’ll
be notified.)
How it works: 4 easy steps
- Fill in the appraisal
form
- Upload the photo(s) through the form
- Submit your information
- After your form is submitted, click the Pay
Now link to submit your payment to PayPal.
Once your payment has been processed, John will prepare
your appraisal. You will then receive notification
by email where your results can be viewed. You will
be able to download, save and print your appraisal.
